On the grounds of Olivet Nazarene University, Strickler Planetarium provides space-themed programs and shows ranging from Sesame Street to a fictional star ship adventure. There is also a star talk that includes basic information on star spotting.

Kids of all ages can get wet and have fun at the Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Center. Attractions include a lazy river, zero-entry pool, water slides and water play park.

An entertainment center, Sky Zone Elmhurst features trampoline-related activities including open jumping, dodgeball, slam dunk basketball, a foam pit and fitness classes. The center also offers private party hosting and a snack bar with food and drinks.

Located on a 150-acre area, Lyman Woods is a peaceful and relaxing nature preserve offering nature trails open to the public. The preserve features over 300 species of native plants and is commonly visited by walkers, joggers, and nature lovers.

Rusty Wallace Racing Experience- Chicagoland Speedway allows visitors to drive racecars on a 1.5 mile d-shaped oval super speedway track, or just ride along. Packages start from as few as 3 laps, up to 50.

Guests can enjoy interactive exhibits at the Isle a la Cache Museum which cover the local area's history during the 18th century. Along with artifacts linked to the Great Lakes fur trade, there is a replica Native American longhouse.
