As the longest bridge in the world to cross over ice-covered water, Confederation Bridge is 12.9km (8 miles) long. Opened in 1997, the bridge connects Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. On the New Brunswick side, there is a rest stop that has a scenic path for picture taking.
The undeveloped land of Cape Jourimain Nature Centre includes beaches, trails, and beautiful scenery along the maritime coast. The centre has views of Confederation Bridge. An observation tower and lighthouse are also within the property, as well as educational exhibits.
Owned by the Canadian Coast Guard and located in Cape Tormentine, the Indian Point Range Lighthouse was built in 1869. Although no longer operational, the lighthouse grounds are open for your viewing pleasure.
