Part of the Des Plaines River preservation system, the Joliet Iron Works Historic Site is a 52 acre preserve and former iron manufacturing facility site. The preserve offers a 0.59 mile interpretive trail and the 10.81 mile Centennial Trail.

Featuring multiple trails, Pilcher Park is suitable for hiking and biking, has wooded areas and spots for picnics and is home to wildlife such as birds and deer. The park has a nature center with animals like turtles and snakes.

Simba and Nala's Dog Park provides an opportunity for our furry friends to stretch their legs and meet some new friends. The park is equipped with waste receptacles, a dog rinsing area, and a separate small dog area.

Featuring 44 lanes, Joliet Town & Country Bowling provides open and league bowling as well as a venue for private parties and events. The center offers a sports bar and grill with lane-side service and casino-style video gaming.
