Providing both open and league bowling, Parkside Lanes is a popular entertainment venue for families in Aurora. It features over 50 lanes and is also available for special events such as birthday or corporate parties.

The Elgin History Museum, located in Elgin, Illinois, is situated in an 1856 building, which formerly was part of the Elgin Academy. The musem, which displays exhibits of Elgin's cultural history, is listed on the National Register of Historicl Places.

A 40-lane bowling center, Brunswick Zone - Hawthorn offers open and league bowling with glow lanes and a pro shop. The center provides private event rooms, a billiard table, a lounge, arcade games and a snack bar.

Brunswick Zone (formerly known as Hawthorn Lanes) provides 40 individual lanes of ten pin bowling, including GLOW lanes with specialty glow-in-the-dark lighting. Visitors can also access a full video arcade, lounge, snack bar, and pro shop.

A family entertainment center, Fore! Family Fun features a black light miniature golf course, mini bowling lanes and bounce houses with a 16' slide. The center also provides arcade and redemption games, a dining menu and private event hosting.

A variety of classical music performances are held every year by the Elgin Symphony Orchestra. Shows are held at two different venues, and special packages are offered where guests can enjoy meeting and talking with the musicians.

Part of the Loyola University campus, the Cuneo Mansion and Gardens was once the home of General Electric founder, Samuel Insull and, later, the residence of the Cuneo family. The site is now used for classes and special events.

The Batavia Fine Arts Centre provides education to the student of Batavia and live productions of music, theater, dance, and visual arts. The center offers multiple performance spaces including the Main Stage, an 890 seat theater.
