Covering 896 acres, the Levi Jackson Wilderness Road State Park has camping sites, playgrounds, a mini-golf course, and picnic areas. It also features two living museums, the Mountain Life Museum and McHargue's Mill.
The smaller sized Wood Creek Lake is spread over 625 acres and is a very popular fishing site with a tackle and live bait store as well as a boat dock. The lake is even home to the fishing state record for a largemouth bass size.
