Visitors can experience off-road tours from the Tomcar, a unique ATV, with Green Zebra Adventures - Snowshoe Mountain. The tours allow you to drive the Tomcar while being led to scenic stops by an experienced local guide.
Running nearby Shaver's Lake, Bail-Out Natural Trail is located in the Cheat Mountain area nearby the Monongahela National Forest. The trail offers a steep, uphill hike and can also be accessed via other trails to provide a downhill route.
The Split Rock Pools is located at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort, and is split between a toddler's area with indoor and outdoor swim areas, a children's pool area with a geyser as well as slides. Adults have their own area with a sauna and hot tub.
