The primary focus of the Dupage County Fair Grounds is the annual fair itself that takes place in July. The fair grounds during that event holds a large carnival and multiple exhibition booths.

Offering first-run films, AMC Loews Woodridge 18 features 18 auditoriums with digital projection and stadium seating. The theater provides arcade game machines, private event hosting and a concession area serving food and beverages.

Opened in 2001, the Charlestowne 18 Theatre offers theatergoers the opportunity to catch new movie releases on its screens. 3D movies are offered in three of its theaters and the facility has two birthday party rooms on site.

Quiet and serene, Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve is a public space providing for an array of outdoor activities. Along with enjoying peaceful streams, wooded areas and wildlife, the preserve is also home to a nature center and house museum.

Visitors at Loews Theaters can access 18 auditoriums with screenings of popular first-run movies alongside select independent and artistic films. The theater has an extensive concession stand with hot food offerings as well.

A full scale ice rink, the Downer's Grove Ice Arena offers open skating hours, lessons in figure skating and basic ice skating, and a hockey program with a variety of leagues.

At Rathje Park, visitors can play sports on one of its fields, bring their children to the playground, or go fishing in the pond. During the winter season, the pond freezes over so visitors can ice skate on it.

As a performing arts venue, Fox Valley Repertory offers productions ranging from romantic comedies to a live music series. The theater also has productions for younger audiences with age-appropriate topics.
