West Quoddy Head Light

Priding itself with being the only candy-striped lighthouse in the country, the West Quoddy Head Light was built in 1857 on the site of an 1808 wooden lighthouse. On the premises is found a visitors' center. Annually, a festival celebrating the lighthouse is held.
