Covering a 10,000 square foot temporary exhibition hall and 60,000 square feet of permanent exhibits, the Tennessee State Museum is one of the largest state museums in the nation. The exhibits begin roughly 15,000 years in the past with prehistoric humans and continue through the 1900s.
