SS Meteor Maritime Museum

Visitors can tour the land-berthed whaleback freighter designed and built by Captain Alexander McDougall, the last remaining one, and known as S.S. Meteor. This ship is also the longest sailing of McDougall's Whalebacks and was used to carry iron ore, grain, sand and gravel, cars, and oil.
