The Ruffner Mountain Center contains many miles of hiking trails. The center also contains the Tree Top Visitor Center with an information booth, gift shop and mining history exhibits, the Woodland Animal Exhibit Hall displaying Alabama animals, and the Mountainside Pavilion that can be rented for special events.
