Historic Prisons

The Old Montana Prison Complex was originally built by inmates and opened on July 2, 1871. The complex has been turned into a series of museums including an Old Prison Museum, Law Enforcement Museum, Frontier Museum, Powell County Museum, Montana Auto Museum, Yesterday's Playthings and Cottonwood City.
