The Ohio State Fair is a wonderful fair and my children had a great time. It is not, however, cheap in any sense of the word. Tickets are inexpensive, but rides are $2-$4 each (the skyway is $3 one way), an all day ride pass is $25, and food averages $5 - $7 per item. If you spend all day at the fair, you should budget at least $45 - $50 per PERSON per day.
