A gristmill built in 1826, Hagood Mill Historic Site is open for tours on the third Saturday of every month. Visitors can take a step back in time and watch the 20-foot waterwheel in action, and explore the grounds of this quiet, simple place.

Blue grass, mountain music, and the historic education of a lifetime awaits you at this quaint old mill. It is REAL! Not fabricated to look authentic. This baby was working back in the day like a boss and is still going strong today. I wish they had more gift items for sale here. A set of old mill logger men would have been SWEEEEET!
