Discover the history of the Outer Banks on Roanoke Island, a 25-acre living history site. Find costimed actors portraying life in America's first English settlement, located on the island in 1585. The site features a recreated 16th century ship that would have brought the colony to America; Indian Town's Coastal Algonquian native American exhibits; an interpretive site replicating life on the 1585 settlement, and an Advernture Museum showcasing 400 years of the area's history. As its name implies, this park also features live concerts and modern-day events, including children's shows.
