Designed in the 15th century by Leonardo da Vinci for his patron, Ludovico Sforza, the bronze statue now known as Leonardo da Vinci's Horse stands in Milan, Italy. Grand Rapids, Michigan also has a copy of the original bronze, mounted on white marble and displayed free to the public.
