Originally opening on June 4, 1914, as the Daytona City Island Ballpark, this stadium hosted the first racially integrated ballgame on host to the first racially integrated game in baseball history and was renamed the Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The Jackie Robinson Ballpark & Statue is the facilities official name.
