Located in Hartford, the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center is devoted to eliminating racism following the inspirational example of novelist Harriet Beecher Stowe. Stowe's seminal novel, 'Uncle Tom's Cabin,' played an influential role in the abolition of American slavery. The Center seeks to continue this tradition.
