Rebuilt after a large fire in the 1870s, St. Mary in the Mountains Catholic Church was created to bring elegant beauty and reverence to the area. Daily tours are conducted during business hours by the docents to inform guests on the history of the church and the region.
Known as the Queen of the Short Lines, the Virginia & Truckee Railroad takes visitors on a journey through the silver mining history of Nevada's Comstock. The 35-minute steam train tour narrates the history of the region as guests travel through the area.
