Residing in the area once considered to be the Uranium Capital of the World, the Elliot Lake Nuclear & Mining Museum is dedicated to informing visitors about the history of mining in the area. A large collection of mine rescue equipment is on display, as well as minerals, and a pictorial hall of fame.
