Gaylord Building Historic Site presents a fantastically accurate, descriptive history about the place, especially the canal, with artifacts and pictures. The Gaylord building also houses the best restaurant of the town. It's a lively and informative destination.

Lewis University, DGC is a 9 hole disc golf course with a mix of wooded and open holes. The course also features packed sand tees and good elevation because of a creek.

Located on the campus of the school, the Lewis University Philip Lynch Theatre is the performance venue for the Theatre Deparment. Each season the department performs a variety of classic and original shows at the venue, including an annual holiday performance.
