Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre

The community-based Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre is home to the Cowichan Wooden Boat Society. There is a museum that explains the history of the Bay, the native culture, and the tradition of the wooden boats. Strolling along the scenic pier offers views of the wooden boats.
