Central Public Library

Designed by Cass Gilbert, the Central Public Library was built in 1912.The library was partially financed through a donation from Andrew Carnegie and contains elaborate designs throughout, including a ceiling modified from Michelangelo's famous ceiling at the Laurentian Library.
