The rather extensive 103-acre facility of the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center is an integral institution dedicated to the education, conservation, and recreation of the Louisiana swamps. Live animal exhibits, natural artifacts, and photographic presentations are housed in the main building while there are paths and boardwalks in the outdoor habitats.
